The 2015 Toonies for Tummies campaign is almost here! Toonies returns for another exciting run from February 5-19, 2015. When you shop during this time at participating retailers, you will be asked if you would like to donate a Toonie. It's important to know that all funds raised at the registers will be donated back to local school nutrition programs.
Our goal for this year's campaign is to raise $1 Million dollars with the support of brands you know and love. 100% of the funds raised in 2014 were distributed to schools in surrounding communities in Ontario and in Atlantic Canada. Last year we offered a means for you to track your Toonie online, and we're glad to announce it's back enabling you to have a better window into where your donations are going.
Thanks to the support of many partners who have worked on the Toonies campaign, over 90,000 views were seen on social media last year. This number does not include social sharing and engagement on Twitter and other social media sites. Stay tuned for details on the upcoming Twitter chat we will be hosting on January 27, 2015! We would love to have you join the conversation, and share information about the Toonies campaign with your followers on social media. A Toonie is all it takes to fill a tummy, and provide a child with a healthy and nutritious meal at school. While the 2015 campaign officially begins in February, you can donate anytime through our website. We are incredibly grateful for your support!
