Shoppers and the public are the lifeblood of the Toonies for Tummies campaign.
Along with our sponsors and retailer partners who help enable the campaign, shoppers’ donations are what make it possible for The Grocery Foundation to help fund student nutrition programs.
It truly takes a village. So, this morning, senior leaders from the participating sponsor companies and retailer organizations joined us in preparing breakfast for students in the North York (GTA/Ontario) This was a first, and, suffice it to say, a huge success. We think we’re onto something.

The Foundation also announced, we’re going to kick start donations to Toonies for Tummies tied to the upcoming Giving Tuesday Campaign (November 27th). For every like of the above segment on @BTToronto’s Facebook page and for every tweet to @BTToronto #Toonies4Tummies #GivingTuesday, between today and midnight Giving Tuesday, The Foundation will donate a toonie to breakfast programs in the province.
