We actively seek partnerships with results-driven organizations that provide high-impact direct service programs; strategically build their capacity to reach more children and/or leverage their expertise in outreach and community building to enhance public policy; and increase awareness of the issue of child hunger locally, regionally and nationally.
We know the Grocery Foundation's Toonies for Tummies has a similar approach here in Ontario and in Canada with 100 per cent of funds raised through its campaign going back to kids and programs that help feed them. We also know that it's having a direct impact on the success of kids, including their academic performance.
