Copy and paste or enter the following URL into your web browser: https://ntn2020.epiqlive.com/ . Scroll down the page and below the word ‘Registration’ there will be an empty field with the title ‘Access Voucher’. Enter the voucher code you have been provided and then click the ‘Validate Voucher’ button.

The page will change, displaying required fields to complete the registration process. Please enter your first and last name, organization, and email address. Once complete, click the ‘Register’ button. This will log you into the virtual event site.

You will be emailed a registration confirmation email that will provide you with a link to access the event and a calendar invite link so you can add this event directly into your calendar.

On the event day, open the registration confirmation email you received or the calendar invitation and select the access link provided. Additionally, you can copy and paste or enter the following URL into your web browser: https://ntn2020.epiqlive.com/auth/login . Scroll down the page and there will be an empty field with the title ‘Email Address’. Enter the email address you used to register and then click the ‘Log In’ button. This will log you into the virtual event site.

You want to be set up and ready to enjoy the event 15 minutes prior to the start time. You will need to do the following:

  1. Ensure that you have registered for the event ahead of time. If you have not yet registered, please follow the instructions in the above section “How do I register for the event?”.
  2. Pick a device that you will use to log into the virtual event site (desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone). This device may also be used to view the event. For additional viewing options, please continue reading further down the FAQ document.
  3. Ensure that your device is connected to the internet. This can be either using a wired (ethernet cable) or wireless (wifi) internet connection.
  4. Open a web browser (preferably Google Chrome).
  5. Open the registration email you received or the calendar invitation and select the access link provided. Additionally, you can copy and paste or enter the following URL into your web browser: https://ntn2020.epiqlive.com/auth/login . Scroll down the page and there will be an empty field with the title ‘Email Address’. Enter the email address you used to register and then click the ‘Log In’ button. This will log you into the virtual event site.
    a) If the registration window appears, scroll down the page and click the phase ‘ Log in here ’. On the login page, enter the email address you used to register to log in. If your web browser saved your email address for the virtual event site, when you enter the event URL into your web browser, it will automatically log you in.
  6. If you are going to cast or share your screen to a TV monitor, ensure this is complete and working.
  7. On the device that you are using to view the event, ensure that your volume is unmuted. You can increase and decrease the volume level to find the perfect setting.
  8. Keep the web browser and the virtual event site open on your device.
  9. Enjoy the event.

The event is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 . Prior to the start time of the event when you log into the site, you will be viewing a pre-show page with a countdown clock to the start of the event.

You can use a desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet, or mobile phone (smart phone) connected to the internet, and ability to access a web browser to log into the virtual event site. This device may also be used to view the event. For additional viewing options, please continue reading further down the FAQ document.

It is preferred to use the Google Chrome web browser. Other web browsers will work but for the best results, Google Chrome should be your top choice.

The best way to view the event is on a large TV monitor with a speaker system. You can view the event on other devices including a desktop computer with a large monitor but for the best results, we recommend that you view it on a large TV monitor with a speaker system. Ensure that your volume is unmuted. You can increase and decrease the volume level to find the perfect setting.

  1. Cast Function (send your web browser from a device to your TV monitor) - You will require that your TV monitor or home entertainment system is equipped with a device to be able to view the cast from a device, such as a Google Chromecast or specific Xbox and PlayStation model consoles, which will need to be connected to the internet. In the web browser tab that you wish to cast from, go into the options menu located at the top corner of the page and select ‘cast’. This will display all available locations that your device can cast to. Your TV monitor should be one of these options. Select your TV monitor option and you will see your laptop web browser tab appear on your TV monitor.
  2. Share-Screen / Mirror Function - Similar concept to the ‘Cast Function’. Newer model TV monitors, such as Smart TVs, that are connected to the internet can receive a share-screen / mirror from your laptop.
  3. Roku or Apple TV Media Player - If you have a Roku or Apple TV media player, or other third-party media player, that is connected to your TV monitor or home entertainment system, you can cast or share-screen from your laptop to that media player.
  4. HDMI Cable - You can connect a HDMI cable from your laptop's HDMI port to an empty HDMI port on the back or side of your TV monitor or to your home entertainment system. Most laptops have an HDMI port but some older models, recently new models, and some Apple models do not have an HDMI port and you will require an laptop adapter. This laptop adapter will have a connector that will fit in a port on your laptop (such as USB-C, DisplayPort, etc) and have a female HDMI connector on the other end which will plug into the HDMI cable connected to your TV monitor or home entertainment system.
  1. You will not be on video at any point during the event and nobody will be able to see you. You will only have access to view and listen to the virtual event and the event organizers are not able to access your laptop camera or webcam.

If your laptop or other device has a built-in microphone or you have an external microphone plugged in, it will not be activated at any point during the event and nobody will be able to hear you. You will only have access to view and listen to the virtual event and the event organizers are not able to access your device or external microphone.

Your audio and video will not be recorded as you will only have access to view and listen to the virtual event. The event organizers are not able to access your device microphone or camera or any external microphones or cameras and do not have the ability to record you.

Ensure that your volume on your device is unmuted. If you are casting or screen-sharing/mirroring to a TV monitor or home entertainment system, ensure that the volume on that device is unmuted. Increase the volume on both devices to find the perfect setting.

Before the event begins - If you are not seeing the live stream playing prior to the scheduled start at 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 that is because it has not started yet. Prior to the start time of the event when you log into the site, you will be viewing a pre-show page with a countdown clock to the start of the event.

After the event begins - The live stream will begin at 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 and if you are logged into the event site you do not need to change anything. The window on your screen will change displaying the live stream.

  1. If you can’t see the live stream or the live stream freezes or is glitchy, click the refresh button on your web browser tab. If that doesn’t solve the issue, move to the next step.
  2. Close your web browser completely and then reopen the web browser. Open the registration email you received or the calendar invitation and select the access link provided. If that doesn’t solve the issue, you can copy and paste or enter the following URL into your web browser: https://ntn2020.epiqlive.com .
